Musical Chairs this week focuses on the life and music of Ruia Aperahama. From his early professional years up front singing and blowing his sax with Southside of Bombay, to his current focus on moving people with Maori language and culture through music (most notably with his brother Ranea on their recent award-winning album 'Whare Maori'), Ruia Aperahama is one of Aotearoa New Zealand's most respected and powerful songwriters and performers.
