M83 at Laneway 2012

Though they perform as a four piece, M83 is the work of Anthony Gonzales, a Frenchman who has been releasing records under the name for over a decade now. His most recent is a double concept album, called 'Wake Up, We're Dreaming'. It was written in California, where he's been living for the past two years - he was particularly inspired to write in Joshua Tree, where so many other musicians have soaked up the desert air. Music 101 host Kirsten Johnstone caught up with Anthony Gonzales in Auckland at the Laneway Festival 2012.
