From Music 101, 2:30 pm today

On Wednesday night in Auckland the London-based seven-piece played a sold-out show at The Powerstation. Made up of 1st generation Brits whose parents immigrated from West Africa and Ethiopia, they incorporate genres like funk and RnB but are known as a jazz group, part of a fertile scene that includes other acts like Ezra Collective. Tony Stamp visited the venue before the show and caught up with all seven members.
