Ragnarok were a local progressive rock band formed in 1974, who played every pub in New Zealand, and released two albums and three singles.
At the time, they were a band who had high production values and owned the first mellotron imported into the country and their own PA. which earned them a great reputation.
Founding member Andre Jayet sadly passed away in 2020.. And just this year the band's debut 1974 album has just been re-issued on vinyl. Here is Trevor Reekie speaking to Mark Jayet and Lea Maalfrid about the band Ragnarok.
