This is a brand new Beatles Radio Documentary - on the making of the album, documentary series and new book on the Beatles final album Let it Be.
With the help of Peter Jackson, recording engineer Glyn Johns, original film director Michael Lyndsay Hogg, AND The Beatles themselves… In part 1 of The Let It Be Story yesterday, The Beatles had gathered in Twickenham Film Studios in January 1969 to rehearse for a proposed live concert. Cameras were rolling for an accompanying TV documentary, as the band ran through new songs and old classics. Now this is part 2.
