13:15 Theia is a Girl, in a Savage World

The singer-songwriter behind the Te Kaahu project relocated to Los Angeles and resumed her alt-pop project, resulting in a debut album that weaves te reo and traditional Māori song forms with electronic elements. She spoke to Kara about her life in America.

14:15 Emily Wheatcroft-Snape is on the Move

An in-demand sound engineer (award-nominated for her work with Fazerdaze), Emily Wheatcroft-Snape also founded Record Enable, which aims to "help women and non-binary people create sustainable careers as audio engineers and music producers". As well as that, she's a busy indie-pop producer, and has just released her debut album as Em.

15:15 Alphabethead re-introduces himself on My Name is David

David Morrison started collecting records aged 12, and when he was 18 won the 2002 New Zealand DMC DJ Championship. Since then he's released albums with Young Gho$t, The All-Seeing Hand, and seven as Alphabethead. He told Tony Stamp about reinventing his sound on the latest.
