Music 101 - Live from 'Camp A Low Hum'

A campground with 240 hectares of native bush sets the scene for three days and nights of music, parties, renegade shows, a talent quest, and surprises. The Music 101 team will be in the thick of it, talking to band and audience members, and taking in live performances during a three-hour live-to-air broadcast.

This is the final in the Camp A Low Hum trilogy. This little music festival has received worldwide attention, being named in Lonely Planet as one of the top Australasian events over summer.Organiser Ian Jorgenson (a.k.a. Blink) says it's "the only festival that cares about how talented a band is, not how popular they are".

There are 60 acts booked, and although the final line-up stays secret until the audience arrives, we can confirm that there will be something for folkies, punks, electro-kids and noise artists.

While half the line-up is local, there's a large Australian contingent this year, as well as some from further a field.

Blink says "The music is so awesome your mind will be blown daily, the people so friendly, they'll piece your skull back together nightly."
