FVDRC report recommends agencies actively protect victims

A new report is recommending agencies actively protect victims, after it found half of all homicides in New Zealand are family-violence related. The government-funded report by the Family Violence Death Review committee analysed the deaths of everyone killed by a member of their own family between 2009 and 2012.
