Flooded Cantabrians angry at no sand bags

Angry and emotional Christchurch residents are asking why the council didn't do more to protect their homes after one hundred houses were inundated during yesterday's once in a century flood. The failure of the council to provide more sandbags to hold the waters back has been a major complaint across the city, as residents start the heart breaking job of mopping up their damaged homes.
