Four lawyers are forming a collective of claimants to challenge the Crown's Treaty settlement process; The Minister of Maori Affairs wants a new pan-tribal electoral college for the Maori Language Commission and the Maori Broadcasting Funding Agency to be driven by the iwi; Nga Potiki o Tamapahore in Tauranga says it's talking with the Ministry of Education about developing books for Kohanga Reo tamariki based on the tribes history; The State Services Commission is commending Te Puni Kokiri for helping hundreds of Maori get work experience and jobs.
