New Zealand tumbles in international test of 15-year-olds

New Zealand has tumbled in a prestigious international ranking of 15-year-olds' abilities in maths, reading and science. Formerly among the top performing nations in the OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment, or Pisa, New Zealand is now outside the top ten nations in reading and science and barely above the average in maths.
