A Ngai Tahu leader says the Maori Council needs to be allowed to die a peaceful death, and for the Iwi Leaders Forum to take up the role as the main pan-tribal body; In response, the Maori Council says Sir Tipene O'Regan is ungrateful about the hand that gave his tribe their largesse; The New Zealand Superannuation Fund says it's keen to work with iwi to invest in businesses; A tattooed Maori head will be returned to New Zealand following a ceremony on Guernsey Island, off the coast of France.
