Business New Zealand says businesses will fail if they don't start learning how to interact with Maori and their protocols; The national body for Maori medium education says the Qualifications Authority should work with it to resolve NCEA problems at a handful of kura; The Ruapehu District Council says a local iwi initiative to address housing, employment, education and crime in the area is one of the most promising projects the council and iwi have ever worked on together; Local Iwi and the Bay of Plenty Regional Council are teaming up to plant native trees along the Maungateone Stream in Ohope - near Whakatane.
