A collective of Waikato Maori trusts says its campaign to get the Crown to acknowledge water rights could ultimately be defeated by its own small budget; Meanwhile, a prominent Maori leader says this week's rally against asset sales is just the beginning of a renewed fight to stop state owned power enterprises from being sold; Waikato-Tainui says it supports a Whanau Ora strategy to stamp out criminal offending among Maori, which will in turn minimise the number of Maori people who are victimised by crime; The iwi owned seafood company, Aotearoa Fisheries is to take over a Crown-run Pacific Oyster Nursery and Spat operation in South Island.
