The Maori Council plans to ask iwi for financial help to fund its Supreme Court case on Maori water rights; A Taranaki iwi has told the Government it must consider offering them rights to oil and minerals in its rohe, once its Treaty settlement is signed; A Wellington based Maori Trust and the ASB Bank have formalised an agreement to help support and develop Maori businesses; A Waikato health service is now working with a Maori health provider, in an effort to engage more effectively with patients and encourage them to keep appointments.
