Record fine for BP 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill

The British oil company BP has agreed to pay four point five billion dollars -- the largest criminal penalty in United States history -- to settle charges stemming from the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico two years ago.
