The Waikato River Authority says a number of groups that have asked for grants to clean up the water have not been up to the job - and were after a quick buck; A Ngati Kahu spokesperson says the Pamapuria teacher, James Parker, has left deep scars across his community by abusing his pupils; The Government says iwi should be open to the exploration for oil and gas - so they can be involved in a rational debate; Two Maori scholars will get the opportunity to travel to the United States and Hawai'i to study different indigenous organisations.
