Illegal search victim: independent inquiry into Dotcom case

In 1996, Dr David Small caught two Security Intelligence Service agents breaking into the Christchurch home of activist Aziz Choudry. He was later awarded $20-thousand for an illegal search related to Mr Choudry's case. Dr Smalll says since then the powers of New Zealand's security agencies have grown, but their accountability hasn't.
