The embattled Rata Te Awhina Trust - which provides Maori health services on the South Island's West Coast - is bringing in more leaders with greater experience to sort out its problems; The Maori Council says iwi chairs need to do a better job of keeping hapu informed - because they feel excluded from top level talks about water; The Whanganui River Maori Trust Board says the new co-management plan to look after Whanganui National Park signals the start of partnership arrangements in a post settlement Aotearoa; A Maori broadcaster says funding for Iwi radio is so tight there isn't enough money to produce more Maori language programmes and keep valuable staff.
