Labour Party wants to limit land to foreign investors

The Labour Party leader, David Shearer, has put forward a bill that would make it more difficult for foreign investors to buy New Zealand farmland. Prompted by the public response to the proposed Crafar farms sale to a Chinese company, the legislation would limit the government's scope to approve such transactions.
