An Iwi spokesperson says Tania Martin remains the chairperson of the Tainui-Waikato parliament, as long as an upcoming meeting on her Marae confirms she's still a representative; Meanwhile, high-powered discussions in Waikato-Tainui are on hold following tribal elections, in which Tukoroirangi Morgan wasn't re-elected as Chair of the executive; The Taranaki Maori Trust Board Chair, Miko Niho, says Taranaki tribes have told the Board not to interfere in its Treaty negotiations with the Crown; One of the judges of this year's Ahuwhenua Trophy, Maori Excellence in Farming Award, says there's a good geographical spread of entries in the competition, which this year is for dairy farmers.
