A senior lecturer specialising in Maori Politics says a threat by the Maori Party over partial asset sales shows the caucus is serious; A Bay of Plenty kaumatua says it seems unfair that every time Maori have o fight for what they believe are their basic rights, it costs them financially; The Maori Language Commission is supporting a former Labour MP, who's calling for Pacific languages to be officially recognised in New Zealand; A member of the Te Arawa Standing Committee in Rotorua says it's now aiming to select a Maori flag sometime this year, to be flown on Waitangi Day next year.
