Inquiry looks at commercial heli-hunting on DoC land

The Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment is questioning whether hunters should be allowed to shoot animals on Department of Conservation land from helicopters. The Deerstalkers Association wants the practice banned describing it as cruel and as hunting dressed up as pest control.
