The chief executive of a northern tribe says the plan for a Maori consortium to buy shares in SOEs is a brilliant prospect for smaller iwi - as well as the big ones; The head of the Board of Directors of a famous Rotorua Maori Arts and Craft centre, Te Puia, says iwi politics won't affect its operations; An eastern Bay of Plenty iwi has set a date to re-open its ancestral meeting house -130-years after it was taken from the tribe and shipped overseas.
