Greater scrutiny ahead for Fonterra's wholesale milk pricing

Fonterra is facing greater scrutiny of the price it pays its farmers, and also what it charges competitors for raw milk. After an initial investigation, the Commerce Commission has ruled out an inquiry into retail milk prices, saying the local market is competitive.
