National Tau Day

In America, the mathematical constant 'pi' is coming under attack from those you'd least expect. Maths boffins. The 'anti-pi-ers ' suggest a constant called 'tau' should take its place which is twice as large as pi. They say it makes more sense when describing fractions of a circle.
