Auckland Mayor marks six months in office

Having completed six months in office, the mayor of Auckland Len Brown now faces big tests over the next few months. The amalgamation of the region's eight local bodies was aimed at tackling big economic challenges and the unique powers given to the Mayor puts those issues squarely at Mr Brown's feet.
