Big party as last surviving WW1 combat veteran turns 110

A one hundred and tenth birthday is not a milestone many people reach. The last surving man who fought in  WW1 - Claude Stanley Choules nicknamed Chuckles, served on an aircraft carrier and witnessed the scuttling of the German fleet. He celebrated his 110th birthday in Perth.
