Attorney general defends decision not to pay sex assault victims

The Forum for Complaints of Police Misconduct recommended consideration of compensation to eight women who say they were the victims of sexual assault and rape at the hands of the police. The Attorney-General says the Cabinet has decided against making a payment, on legal advice.
