Noted film-maker Merata Mita remembered as a 'pioneer'

Some in the Film and Television Industry say the death of a noted film-maker marks the end of a generation of pioneering Maori onscreen creators. Merata Mita of Ngati Pikiao and Ngaiterangi died yesterday.
