Maori Party switches vote on ECAN legislation

The relationship between National and the Maori Party has taken another hit, this time over the law change to remove Canterbury's regional councillors. The Environment Minister, Nick Smith says he is disappointed the Maori party changed its vote at such a late stage and its not helpful to the relationship between the parties.
