The man who helped break up the mobile network duopoly in New Zealand says the supermarket sector won't become competitive without the forceful breaking up of the current industry leaders. Economic Growth Minister Nicola Willis has again said she would welcome another player in the supermarket sector. Earlier she said she was open to forcing supermarkets to sell off land they may be saving for future supermarkets - provided a new operator is willing to buy it.
