An abuse in care survivor says learning many more people suffered at the hands of state and faith-based institutions spurred her to report to police the off-duty officers who she says raped her decades ago. The final report from the Royal Commission of Inquiry estimated more than 200-thousand people suffered abuse and neglect in state or faith-based care from 1950 until 2019. RNZ Amy Williams has more.
