Hundreds of public servants are poised to lose their jobs as cuts promised by the Coalition Government begin to bite.
Three hundred roles are set to go at the Ministry of Primary Industries, or MPI, along with 180 at the Ministry of Health.
And the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment is again asking staff to apply for voluntary redundancy after already having accepted more than 100 such applications.
