The Prime Minister says Winston Peters has posted completely inaccurate information online about what Jacinda Ardern knew about the mosque terror attacks before they happened.
In a post on X, the New Zealand First leader says it was just Wednesday that, quote - "we" found out "for the first time" - that the then Prime Minister's Office received information about the March 2019 massacre before it took place.
However it was stated at a news conference the day after the attacks, and widely reported, that her office received the terrorist's manifesto minutes before the first shots were fired.
Chris Hipkins's spokesperson says Peters should remove the tweet. Subsequently Peters tweeted again.
