The Labour Party says landlords and property investors will be lining their pockets if National is elected to government on Saturday, likely at the expense of those who are renting those properties.
Analysis by Labour suggests landlords would receive an average of $6,000 a year in tax cuts, a number CoreLogic Senior Research Analyst Kelvin Davidson says seems accurate.
The question then is, would some of that money be passed on to renters?
