Crews are aiming to begin laying down a temporary pipe in Auckland Monday morning to bypass a blocked sewerage pipe.
Tonnes of debris has been removed from the blocked pipe where a thirteen-metre-deep sinkhole opened up a week ago.
Hundreds of litres of sewage a second has been pumping into the Waitemata Harbour since then, leaving all inner city beaches closed.
