Opener Finn Allen top scored for the Black Caps with 83, while Glenn Phillips scored a quick-fire 69 to help the team post 202 for 5 from their 20 overs.
In response England only managed 128 with Kyle Jamieson and Ish Sohi both taking three wickets.
