Immigration officials asked for more evidence of Lauren Dickason's history of mental illness the day before she killed her three daughters.
The jury in the murder trial has heard she had been corresponding with New Zealand authorities about the family's visa applications.
Mrs Dickason has pleaded not guilty to the 2021 murders of twins Karla and Maya and their older sister Liane, arguing insanity and infanticide.
