Auckland Central MP Chlöe Swarbrick says there will be a time after grieving and reckoning with the senseless violence of yesterday's fatal shooting to address politics.
The 24-year-old assailant, understood to be Matu Reid, died at the scene in a shoot-out with police after killing two civilians with a shotgun and injuring six.
Swarbrick says violence like this has no place in her city nor in Aotearoa.
Swarbrick spoke to Corin Dann.
