Let's talk potholes.
The National Party wants to create a $500 million fund to deal with urgent roading repairs, aptly named the Pothole Repair Fund.
In 2022, there were more than 50,000 potholes that needed repairs on State Highways, and National doesn't think Waka Kotahi is getting to them quickly enough.
But the government says it's National's fault repairs aren't happening fast enough, because it didn't fund roads properly.
National's transport spokesperson Simeon Brown spoke to Corin Dann.
