A man armed with an axe and a pole attacked people in three Chinese restaurants on Auckland's North Shore last night, leaving three people in hospital - one with serious injuries. A 24 year old man will appear in court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The restaurants where the attacks occured are in a shopping centre on Corinthian Drive in Albany. This woman was at the Maya Hotpot when the man entered the restaurant The woman, who doesn't want to be named, says her injured friend is in hospital . RNZ reporter Rayssa Almeida was at the scene.
