Greenpeace has called the Budget a gamble with the climate crisis.
The Budget has allocated more than 3-billion dollars for climate initiatives - including 1-point-9 billion dollars for emissions reductions and adaptation measures, as well as expanding the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme, boosting rail and expanding the EV charging infrastructure.
But Greenpeace says the Budget ignores the nation's biggest polluters including agriculture, transport and energy.
