The Prime Minister is rubbishing the National Party's idea of a "taxpayer receipt" as a major waste of time and money.
In a pre-Budget speech, National has unveiled its plans to increase fiscal discipline.
One is individual receipts showing people how much tax they've paid, and what support payments they've received.
The Prime Minister says there is already a lot of transparency and accountability around how the government spends taxpayer money.
