National's Finance spokesperson Nicola Willis says the Finance Minister needs to explain what Government savings will be spent on.
In a pre-budget speech yesterday, Grant Robertson said the Budget would prioritise health, education and housing, as well as tackling the cost of living and the Cyclone Gabrielle clean-up.
Mr Robertson said savings of $4 billion over four years will be detailed in the Budget but Opposition parties say the savings are tiny given the scale of Government spending.
