Farmers play key role in falling greenhouse emissions

From Morning Report, 6:19 am on 17 April 2023

Farmers say they are playing a key role in reducing the country's greenhouse gas emissions, thanks in part to changing farm practices and skyrocketing fertiliser costs.

The key driver was reduced agricultural emissions - down 1.5 percent.

Corin Dann spoke to Andrew Hoggard, Federated Farmers President and its climate change spokesperson.
