Consumer Advocacy Council surveys NZers' electricity concerns

The majority of New Zealanders are worried electricity is going to become unaffordable, and unreliable, within the next decade. 

Those findings come from a survey late last year - before Cyclone Gabrielle. 

It was commissioned by the Consumer Advocacy Council, which the government set up in 2021 to represent small electricity users. 

The Council's Chair Deborah Hart spoke to Kim Hill.
