New Zealand ballet dancer Hannah O'Neill has been named as one of two new stars, or etoile, at the Paris Opera Ballet - the world's oldest ballet company.
It's a huge, and rare honour - Hannah is one of the few non-French dancers ever to reach such an exalted status, which is the company's highest position.
Hannah, whose been with the company since the age of 18, trained at the Mt Eden Ballet Academy, where her teacher, Melinda Palmer says she stood out from the start.
Palmer says Hannah always had big dreams as well as all the qualities that make a top ballerina, including talent, drive and determination.
