As Hawkes Bay grapples with the devastation wrought by Cyclone Gabrielle, people at an evacuation centre came together last night for a pick me up to help get through the toughest of times.
At the Cook Island Community Centre in Flaxmere, 50 people from Samoa, Tonga, the Cook Islands and Aotearoa are seeking refuge.
