The appointment of the next All Blacks coach has reached a confusing juncture, after comments from leading candidate Scott Robertson were refuted by New Zealand Rugby on Wednesday.
NZ Rugby issued a one sentence statement, saying: "New Zealand Rugby is continuing to have internal discussions, but an announcement about the All Blacks head coach or process is not imminent."
